I remember Lowery being with the Hattiesburg school system just 2 or 3 years ago and adjuncting for USM in Ed Leadership.  How did someone who was never an assistant professor suddenly become tenured and an associate professorin DT's dept (see the CISE posted website)?  Was there a national search? I don't think so. His claim to fame is being a high school classmate's of DT at Hattiesburg High. I searched the archives to see if he was hired based on a national search - he wasn't. I searched to see if he'd ever been an assist. prof - he hasn't.
