I sent out my email message to alums and concerned friends this morning. I've already gotten an overwhelming response, with many of them sending me copies of their emails to Shelby! Please, please, please if you are an alum or concerned friend (or former professor!) and are able and willing to put your name on an email, send your thoughts to Shelby at: Shelby.F.Thames@usm.edu Remember: you are speaking for those who are still at USM and are SCARED to use email, telephones, or speak in public right now. I talked to one of the representatives of Concerned Students for USM at about 1:00 today. They were painting signs as we spoke... The representative said he would report in tonight and let us know how it went. __________________
