Funny story I heard today...


Late last week, a student saw Shelby walking across campus toward the Dome.  He was escorted by two police officers, one flanking him on each side.


Is that not truly funny?  This guy is afraid of his own students!  Or he is trying to make it appear that way, for PR's sake--that the protesters and anti-shelby folks are "dangerous."


Ok...I have had my afternoon laugh...gotta get back to work.

I think it's really a matter of paranoa. Look at his behavior, clearly he's not a rational man. He sees detractors everywhere and has manifested them because of his own behavior.

It's a shame that he has reduced the fine men and women of the UPD to the status of personal bodyguards. I'm sure there are SGA members who would gladly assume the mantle of Protectors of the Führer...he may be nice enough to allocate some university funds for jackboots.
