Is this the AAUP list of businesses to support?

I would be interested in seeing this, too.

I do know that many USM profs and grad students quit going to the Mahogany/Purple Parrot and now go to 206 and the Hippo downtown instead. 

When the "hog" loses grad students' business, it has lost it's most substantial clientele.

God, their fried chicken salads and hot rolls...if I had to give those up, I would be very sad (and probably a couple of pounds lighter )

I'll see if I can snag a copy of the "friends list."  Might be a week before I can get ahold of it, though.
