1.  A university president who refuses to talk to his faculty, unless it is to slander and demean them.

2.  A vice president for research who takes liberties with her CV, threatens to sue anyone who merely questions her credentials, and then throws a "pity party" when her back is against the wall.

3.  A "risk manager" hired to the tune of $140,000 (how many assistant profs could USM hire with that money?) with unspecified (yet highly suspect) job duties.

4.  A partisan College Board president who doesn't have the sense to recuse himself from an "impartial" hearing process while he continues to make public statements in the media that he has already made up his mind about the outcome.

5.  A university "spokesman" who promulgates false, misleading, and biased information to the media (i.e. Doug Chambers, Mader math, et. al.).

6.  The fact that USM's national reputation is being dragged through the mud NOT by brave faculty members who are doing USM proud by standing up for academic freedom, but by power and money-hungry administrators who could care less what happens to USM's academic reputation as long as the "gold" is mined.
