Miss. Business Journal going to bat for Dvorak
Permalink Closed

Next week in the Mississippi Business Journal
Friday, 23 April 2004, 12:15 p.m.

• "In the middle of a storm, Dvorak's credentials hold up" — Earlier this year, some faculty questioned whether Dr. Angeline Dvorak, vice president for research and economic development at the University of Southern Mississippi, was truly a tenured associate professor when she was with the University of Kentucky. Since then, Dvorak has proven that she was indeed tenured, and some now wonder why the tenure issue was such a big deal in the first place.

Does anyone have a subscription to the MBJ? I would love to know how they spin Dvorak's resume.  Additionally, I would love to know how the news about Dvorak losing her grad teaching status will affect their spin.

I guess they will have to write another one about how she lost her graduate faculty status.

Let's just remember that the MBJ is not the MLA. Heck, it's probably owned and run by Dvorak's cousin from Kentucky.

That's the address to the "current" issue online. The Dvorak stuff isn't there yet, as far as I can tell.

There is a subscription available in the Brooks Reading Room inside McCain Library too.
