This came from the troll "what if Shelby is right". At least, I hope it was a troll...the thought that some people might think Shelby has a clue is too horrible to even contemplate.

The troll stated that ST would be at USM when Glasmer and Stringer were long gone.

I stated that his contract, AFAIK, expires just about the same time as Glasmer and Stringer...assuming that he isn't removed before then.

At which time (when ST is removed), a new President will reinstate Glasmer and Stringer fully in his first move, as a gesture of both good faith and good will to the faculty and community at large.

Honestly, if anyone, anywhere is interested in "healing", I believe that this is the only way it can occur. Are you listening, board?

Actually, if Shelby is removed this summer by the IHL board, an interim president can renegotiate the terms and Frank and Gary could be back in the classrooms and working on the Donne project by the fall semesters.


I am certain that they considered this when they agreed to the terms.
