Sorry to disappoint you, but I really do not want to risk getting caught. Last night the Thames police were out in full force. No doubt looking for me.
But to entertain you for today I converted an Allman Bros. song:

But I'm not gonna let them catch me, no, Not gonna let 'em catch the Midnight Chalker. "

Chalk another one up to the chalker.
Chalker: You may need to enlist a support crew of decoys running around wearing signs on their backs reading "Am I the Chalker?" That might leave a little on the constables' faces.

That's a GREAT idea! Just make sure they have no chalk dust on their hands!

Thanks for the personal welcome. I graduated from Southern in the early 90s (yes, I'm old) and moved away - eventually to Egypt. But I still keep up with what's going on there. Actually, a former professor told me about your site. I've sent the link to friends and associates I've kept in touch with over the years. I only wish there was more that I could do from here.
What will happen to Night Chalker if he or she gets caught? Do we need to start a bail fund??

FYI Walmart has a sale on Crayola sidewalk chalk. Two boxes for $3--that's 40 pieces of chalk. How efficient and effective! I've got mine. Let's all join the chalker.
