Sorry to disappoint you, but I really do not want to risk getting caught. Last night the Thames police were out in full force. No doubt looking for me.

But to entertain you for today I converted an Allman Bros. song:

Midnight Chalker

Well, I've got to run to keep from hiding,

And I'm bound to keep on chalking.

And I've got one more painted quarter.

But I'm not gonna let them catch me, no,

Not gonna let 'em catch the Midnight Chalker.

Thanks for the personal welcome. I graduated from Southern in the early 90s (yes, I'm old) and moved away - eventually to Egypt. But I still keep up with what's going on there. Actually, a former professor told me about your site. I've sent the link to friends and associates I've kept in touch with over the years. I only wish there was more that I could do from here.

What will happen to Night Chalker if he or she gets caught? Do we need to start a bail fund??

FYI Walmart has a sale on Crayola sidewalk chalk. Two boxes for $3--that's 40 pieces of chalk. How efficient and effective! I've got mine. Let's all join the chalker.
