Looks like the faculty loss that was discussed in yesterday's thread is from the CBED. I'm hearing alot today that indicates it's Dr. Trevino in international business. If it's true, there are no longer any ib profs left (Black is already listed on babbs' list as a "retirement"; he was the only other one left).
I'll ask around some more this afternoon, and maybe report back.
That's a helluva move. How are you supposed to believe that USM can replace someone good enough to be at WSU even in a good climate, much less this rotten mess?
I wonder why he would leave this World Class University go to Pullman Washington (7 miles from Univ of Idaho) where he will be saddled with a 2 course load, have to pay more Federal income tax because he likely increased his salary by 20-25%, have much more travel money, and a sane administration? I bet by October he will be missing this place and beg to come back.
Does anyone know if Trevino was one of the faculty in CBED that got the TOP 10% raises that the Faculty Senate is investigating? I would think that if he was recruited by WSU, he would have to be in the top 10% of CBED faculty.

Cossack,
I have seen the FIOA request given to the facsen some time ago (since I'm on it). There is not a "Trevino" in CBED's top 10%. I have yet to see the new requested info that prompted the Hanbury memo though. Maybe he got recommended but didn't get it.
