Hey, anybody got their digital camera handy? There is "Fire Shelby" chalk on the wall next to the entrance to the art department, ground floor of the Fine Arts Building!
Yea...just saw it.. however it was in purple so some art student fixed it so you can see it better...
Hope you don't mind.

Day Chalker--> maybe we should get together & form the Chalking Brigade.
The Charge of the Chalk Brigade
Yes, I sat there today & watched them erase my beautiful artwork with their industrial sized water guns. Believe me when I say I'm not done. I will strike again!!! Be very afraid Shelby!!

Seems like spray paint (or some scent-free beige paint) would be vandalism. No, I do not suggest that. Chalk, though. That is a relatively calm method of expressing one's feelings, as opposed to other methods that I push out of my head to keep myself out of real trouble. I know you guys/gals think bad thoughts too.
Those of you with chalk, hang onto it. It's a valuable commodity at a university that can't afford to supply its classrooms with these precious little sticks of that rare mineral, calcium carbonate.
Hey Angie, can you please help me write a grant to get a truckload of chalk for instructional purposes?
Or maybe the university could devote research into ways to make chalk substitutes using polymers. Research and economic development!
Oh, I forgot -- who needs chalk when we can do it online...
