Maybe it is time to give some kudos to Janet, whose reporting has improved on the fairness/reality side, thugh she still looks for that 1% to report as 50%.
This board has been hard on her as they SHOULD have been. I have seen her in action and will probably do so tomorrow.
But, as some posts say, the HA and even Janet are coming around now. They smell it. They know it. The see it. Let's hope they go for it and expose it all, and that other media will pile on.
I think it could snowball if they will just do their jobs and report what the heck is going on, not letting SFT and co. hide behind PR spin.
I have known Mrs. Braswell for many years (though not in a journalism area) and was very agrivated about her reporting, or lack of honest reporting). It does seem though that she has changed her writing a bit, and I am glad to see it. Thanks Mrs. Braswell!

I've never had any particular problem with Ms. Braswell or the American, given the overall circumstances. Automobile dealers buy a WHOLE LOT of advertising space.
My only concern may be that which you have expressed as 1% reported as 50%. I suspect in an effort to be "fair," reporters such as Ms. B try to get quotes from both sides of any controversy, giving the reader the impression that both sides are roughly equal in number and have equally compelling arguments. In this case, I think that practice would be misleading.
Just because there are two sides to every story does not mean they are both equally valid. (Don't believe me? Contact: Flat Earth Society, Charles K. Johnson, Box 2533, Lancaster, CA, 93539-2533, phone 805-727-1635.)
Wow!I have been looking at their website for a few minutes now, and it is pretty outrageous. Check out their FAQ. all places named Springfield are somehow connected, so they say. The Earth is flat with 5 corners and you can sail or fly off the edge over a huge waterfall. Australia dosen't exist. Hmmmmm....... Maybe we con send SFT on a "vacation" to Australia for him to find out that it does not exist.
