Babbs,

I just received the following email. You may want to verify the info about the prof in question through another source.

***********

To my knowledge, Dennis Hunt is not leaving. Please ask "Babbs' to take
his name
off of the departure list. Criminal Justice has experienced faculty
losses, but
Dennis is not one of them. Inaccurate information such as this has the
potential
to raise concerns among students where none should exist. Thanks.

FS:

From today's Student Printz:

"Dennis Hunt has announced his decision to leave next year." (page 1)..

That's good enough for me, then.  Unless Dr. Hunt himself contacts me, we'll go with the Printz for verification.

Keep up the fantastic work, babbs!

Ok, I've received another email from the same person:

********

Let me clarify . . . Dennis is retiring, but not this year. He will be
with the
dept. for one more year and then retire NEXT spring. I dont think his
name
should be on the list. To leave it on is not accurate. Thanks !
************

Babbs, since it's your list and you have total editorial control, I leave it to you to respond to the email author on the board.

Thanks,

FS (moderator)

Perhaps the best way to handle this is, on tomorrow's list, to parenthetically indicate that Dennis will leave in May next year.

If Dennis is leaving after next May, it is best to remove his name for now.  Thanks to whomever e-mailed FS on this one.
