I was told by someone on the Hattiesburg campus that Ken Malone had a meeting on the Gulf Coast Campus this morning and announced that Mark Dvorak was no longer with the university. He also announced that Russ Willis was now over Human Resources.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Can you (or someone else) please let us know the source of this rumor?  (fingers crossed!)

Someone from the GC Campus called a friend of mine in Hattiesburg. Supposedly this was told to the personnel in Human Resources on the GC.

I have my fingers doublecrossed. Hoping to verify...

Can anyone from HR on the Gulf Coast verify?

Does anyone really know why Mark Dvorak is being canned (I'm presuming that his belongings are in boxes because he is no longer working for USM)?

I have yet to see conclusive evidence that he is, indeed, fired or "tendering his resignation."  Sorry, but I can't believe it until I see some proof.

Anyone have more solid evidence of this?
