The first meeting of the President's University Council is Wednesday at 10:00am. Assuming all meetings are scheduled for Wednesdays (if there to be any more than this one) and given the way this body is formed (no elections), this is nothing more than "Wednesdays with Thames."
Maybe members of the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED bodies on campus (Faculty Senate, Staff Council, et. al.) should show up for this meeting in a gesture of "healing" and "communication." Wouldn't that be funny if they got thrown out for trying to "communicate?"
