We had a great day at Canebrake Lake. My risk manager's associate is a terrific skier. He spent the entire afternoon showing off for Lisa and C.E. He did a little trick skiing and some slalom. My risk manager shot a 9 lb. 3 oz. largemouth bass right before we docked. It was huge. We have several photos we are going to paste on the Thomas Cooley website when we get back.
While we were out on the lake, I got a cell phone call from Bobby Chain wanting to have dinner tonight with us. I think we'll be at Hub City Grill (I think that's where he said). I think he wants to discuss some things regarding Ken Malone and what's going on down at the Gulf Coast branch. I hear the faculty/staff down there aren't too thrilled about things.
I'm going to have to turn in early (get back to Hawthorne Suites). I got a text message from my secretary back at TCLS saying that some TCLS professors initiated an investigation of one of my Deans on the day the 3 of us departed for Hattiesburg. Someone is going to have to pay a price back up there, but I'm hoping it can be handled without the three of us having to go back to Lansing. If we don't have to go back, we're trying to shift our schedules around so we can stay a couple of extra days in Hattiesburg. We're thinking about bustin' up in the first President's Council meeting on Wednesday morning.
