Shelby darlin' you're looking a little haggard these days. Wouldn't you just like to take a little rest? Go back to Texas and lie by the pool? Now wouldn't that be nice? Don't worry about the university. As you can see from this board, lots of people care about USM, and we can take care of it. In fact, it will be just fine without you. You're not getting any younger fella, and we think you've got a well-deserved rest coming. It'll be so good for your health. So just put your feet up and punch "send" on that e-mail to Roy about resigning. C'mon. You know it's what's best for you, for Shirley (she worries so much, you know), and the rest of us. Hi Dr. Thames. I hope all is well in the Dome. I haven't been to Hattiesburg in a few months. I thought I'd write you here since I hear you're reading this Web site.

I hear things are "crazy" down there these days. I thought things were "crazy" when I was still an undergrad. but I guess I didn't know anything, did I?

I remember you told the Printz lasts year it should be more "fair and balanced" like Fox News. Do you think it's gotten better since I left?

Are you still "concerned" about the journalism department? After all, you should be more in the know there last year this time, since you've been reading "Student Printz" e-mails.

Did it make you feel "excited" reading a 23-year-old woman's e-mail? I bet it did.

Were you alone when you read them? Were the lights out? How did it make you feel when you read a young woman's personal correspondence? Did you feel like a "big red-blooded man?"

Just wondering how it feels to be know so much about students. I guess it makes sense that you should know as much as possible about them. We all know they're your "most prized possessions."

Wow, go Robbie. By the way, how is Arie doing? I had a class or two with her and I remember her complaining about Thames harrassing her.

Just a random thought here, but does anyone suppose that Thames has been the troll (or two, or three) that has been posting on this board?
