Lee-McNelis to become USM women's basketball coach





Memphis women's basketball coach and former University of Southern Mississippi basketball star Joye Lee-McNelis is expected to be named the new women's head coach at her alma mater Friday.

The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported in today's edition that Lee-McNelis would be introduced as USM's next women's coach in an 11 a.m. news conference.

Lee-McNelis led the Lady Tigers to six 20-win seasons, including a 21-10 mark last season and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
