Add Les Goff (Noetic CEO/President and USM Executive Director of Innovation and Business Ventures) and his wife Sarah Morgan (Assistant Professor, Polymer Science).
Do you think some of these administrators like Les Goff and Ken Malone having their wives use maiden names to sneak under the radar on their relationships to each other and to USM?

I don't know if it's necessarily for "sneaky" reasons. Some women just prefer to retain their own name after marriage. In the case of Southern Mess, it does make it challenging when attempting to identify all the branches on the "family tree."

I'm working on the "family tree"...will post it as soon as I can!

Family tree? Malone offspring of Shelby Thames (grad student in 1990 or so), hired in a Shelby search almost two years ago. Morgan offspring of Shelby's Polymer partner in licentious behaviour, McCormick (grad student late 1980's), hired in a Shelby Search almost two years ago. Flosenzier???? Don't know, didn't go to USM.
Speaking of going to USM, how many were denied professorial positions because they graduated from here? I feel that there is quite a lot of examples. However Polymer Grads seem to be exempt from the rule.
Doesn't Hudson have a daughter or something that works at USM? Can't remember who she is or what she does...just have a vague memory of seeing it on another thread.

Racer X:
I was thinking this same thing last night, and was waiting for someone to bring it up.

I was told not to bother to apply for a position at USM because I had my terminal degree from USM. In retrospect, it's one of the best things that ever happened to me.
thanks kickback. Hey everyone, one more USM royal family added to mix below...
