I just read something on another website to the effect that Hanbury was hired by Thames/USM at a salary of $140,000 per annum, for a newly created, still unapproved position. Is this correct, or verifiable? Holy s**t, this has to be more than any professor or dean on campus, probably more than most of the USM administrators. If true, I'm surprised this could slip through unnoticed by the media.
