Since Thames took office many high level staff with years of service to USM were treated in the same way that Glamser and Stringer have been. No one seems to be bringing out this point. Same kind of scenario. Staff member called to meet with supervisor or VP, asked to resign, take a demotion or simply fired while locks are change on their office doors. Most of these staff members have remained silent because other members of their family work at USM and they fear that Thames' will retaliate against them.
When Dr. Margaret Mary Sulentic - who was an assist. prof. in the CISE Dept. who happened to have Dana as her chair - was almost ready to resign to take another position, since she had been basically run out of that Dept. due to Dana's incompetence to lead that dept, DT tried to pull that lock the office thing on her - except Dr. Sulentic was too quick for her. DT went to lock the office, seize the computer etc. and found an empty office with a crystal clean computer. Take heed from the people who truly know the kind of people DT and Daddy are. BTW - guess whose name is being mentioned more and more as the person who will be the next Dean of the Ed and Psych College? It isn't Will E. Pierce. Take a wild guess . . . . yep, you're right.
Another curious thing: two departments that have had their own troubles with shelby were burglarized a couple of days before Glamser and Stringer were fired.
The CPUs in their offices were taken--not the monitors, not other periferies, just the CPUs. Many on campus are speculating that Shelby had his gestapo go in and remove the CPUs so that he could see with whom they have been corresponding about their own problems with him.
Here's a link to Printz issue with an article on the burglaries. Scroll about halfway down to the article:
