How can we trust what Shelby Thames says? OBVIOUSLY, he either has not had the facts right or maybe blatently lied for his own glory and to try and make his points go accross better. A perfect example is when he said, in a press conference, that professor Chambers let his class out and gave them extra points if they went to the protest; which, was totally a lie. Chambers Had Jury Duty. Thames also said in sum that he wont apologize and does not think he did anything wrong. I think thames thought people would side with him on how bad it was that a professor would let his students out of class for extra credit to protest against him (Thames). But, it backfired; BADLY. Who knows, maybe Chambers was the next one to go and that was going to be one of the charges? Except, the problem for thames is going to be that legally noted slip of paper that chambers possesses that called him to jury duty.

He obviously has LIED, and he keeps getting caught in lies, so how do we know what usm and thames puts in the news papers isnt all lies? Maybe his charges against glamser and stringer are all phony and conjured-up lies. Maybe he just wants to make them sound bad so he can try glamser and springer in the court of "public opinion." However, if that was his intention, it sure has backfired.

I agree with a statment the professors made in the faculty convocation. This statement by Glamser was "if a pack of lawyers with all the resources of the university went after you for six weeks; could you have a problem?"

If a pack of lawyers went after anyone, for any ammount of time, im sure after digging through enough dirt they will find something at least semi-worthy of trying; whether it is legitimate, illegal or not.
