What about the 9 deans who got the axe, a large group of Chinese post-docs that worked in the polymer lab and were fired, Susan Siltanen (though I suspect she's been taken care of), Cheryl Moudy (?), Russ Willis (though he had to be hired back on a consulting basis 'cause Mark Dvorak wasn't up to the task, JAMES GREEN (racism here? you decide), VAN HOOK GOLF COURSE (and the members of the Van family that were never consulted/apologized to), Phillip Jeffress (Gulf Coast Business Bureau), and on and on. . . .
Don't forget Bud Kirkpatrick. He had Lisa's job before ST came in. He is listed as retired but I have heard from a reliable source that he was forced into that retirement.
Yeah, Bud Kirkpatrick was forced to retire. I think there are only a coulpe of staff members still working for Mader. The former PR staff couldn't stand to work for someone so unqualified.
Looks like it was after. 2003 SACS commission website has him listed as a professor. But 2003 MAC Executive committee has him listed as VP Emeritis for Administrative Affairs for USM. Still looking into it though, just to be sure.
this is pitiful. If you want a witchhunt, then go for it. But you weaken your credibility if you go out on limbs. Dr. Ginn? Is anyone who has resigned a potential issue? Credibility is your critical issue. If your claims are so far from the facts, then you lose credibility. Get your facts and make sure they are accurate.

What are you talking about? You keep spamming this board with admonishments about "credibility." This isn't a newspaper--this is a message board where people discuss issues.
Indeed, "resignations" are central to the crisis at USM because MANY MANY MANY professors and administrators were PUSHED OUT to make way for the Thames regime. Very central! Consider that Shelby offered Glamser and Stringer the opportunity to resign or be fired. Shelby underestimated his opponents, though, and they refused to step down. Others were forced out, however. This is a fact, supported by numerous current lawsuits against Shelby. Just because you wish it not to be so does not make it not so.
This is a discussion board, and people come here to discuss things--things you may not like or of which you may not approve. If you want "fact" then go look at my exposes on Holmes, Hanbury, and Dana Thames...and if you have time, look into the Whiting case. Your defensiveness explains A LOT about your position in the current crisis, though.
golly. I guess I've made all of 2-3 posts on this site. If this constitutes "spamming", then I plead guilty. I don't think I'm spamming. And if "facts" are a problem for this site, then that says something in and of itself. My observation is that credibility is critical. If you want to make claims about what is going on at USM then make them accurate (that's what I mean about factual). If you don't then you don't have credibility.

I have credibility. Every claim I have made on this website is backed up by evidence, which is more than Thames can say for his PR machine.
At any rate, the purpose of a message board is for people to have discussions. People are entitled to their opinions, whether you like it or not.
If what is said here grates you so badly, form your own message board where only your "facts" are discussed.
Oh, and while we are talking about "credibility," perhaps you should put down your rock and walk back into your own glass house--your posts here are hardly based on "fact."
you continue to refer to all of 3-4 posts I've made. I did respond to the "paint" post, as did someone else. I teach at USM. I have a pretty good sense of whether some buildings were and weren't painted recently, or in the last 10-15 years. When someone says "all" buildings were painted, I wish it were so, but it isn't. If that fact disturbs you so be it.
In all fairness, when you post, "This is a discussion board, and people come here to discuss things--things you may not like or of which you may not approve, "At any rate, the purpose of a message board is for people to have discussions. People are entitled to their opinions, whether you like it or not," you should allow other people - like lddad - to have their opinion, whether _you_ like it or not. Remember, the "straw" in this crisis is over First Amendment rights.

Redden "retired" and is selling tornado shelters, according to a recent Hattiesburg American story on tornadoes. His wife is a plastic surgeon in Hattiesburg.
He's allowed to have his say. I have not pulled any of his posts.
This is an internet message board, not a newspaper. People are free to discuss all topics around which this message board was created, even though lddad my not find them "credible."
As moderator of this board, though, I do reserve the right to keep people on topic. Visit any message board on the net and you will find this to be common practice. I will use my position as moderator of this board to fulfill the role that all moderators fulfill: to keep threads on topic and to prevent flame wars.
I also will reiterate that this forum was created for people who want to see Thames deposed and Glamser and Stringer reinstated. All message boards on the internet have a theme; that is this message board's theme. It is a safe haven for the discussion of the topics for which it was created.
