The thread started off fine, but it began to veer into territory that doesn't need to be discussed on this board, for the sheer fact that discussing various professors' raises and then opining whether or not they are shelby tools can result in losing some of our strongest allies.

I think it is ok to discuss salaries of people whose careers make them public figures--Shelby, Angie, Jack, Lisa--but I don't advocate using this site to "out" professors.  Such tactics can backfire.
