You know, if he didn't read it, it just further demonstrates how he insulates himself from criticism and dissent.
If I were his PR advisor, I would have instructed him to say, "Yes, I read it. I am giving it consideration now."
What purpose AT ALL did it serve for him to say that he didn't read the letter?
