Add two more names to the departure list.

Dr. Marian Wilson Kimber, associate professor of music, has accepted a position at the University of Iowa.  Her husband, Dr. Michael Kimber, professor of music, will leave the university with her.  Dr. Wilson Kimber is a demanding and sucessful  teacher.  She is a fine musicologist who is building an international career and whose scholarly work would have brought recognition to the university.  Dr. Michael Kimber is an active performer on the viola, an excellent composer, and a valued teacher. While I cannot speak for the Kimbers, I wager that neither of them would have left if the situation here had been better.

Don't forget one more loss to music at USM.  Dr. Mary Ann Stringer will surely leave if her husband is not reinstated.

Reorganization sure did a job on fine arts, nursing, and criminal justice. What a terrible shame after so many years of excellence.

Congrats Marian and Michael -- I'm sorry we are losing you both. You have been quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) in the battle.
