speak.  If he is really going to Slippery Rock and UT- Pan Am to get the word out that USM is a dynamite place, and not to really go after the presidencies at either place, then USM should reimburse both institutions for the costs of his visit.  That would also go for Texas A&M in the Joe Paul situation if he would also characterize his "trip" there the same way.
