webster's glossary contest...
Permalink Closed

Welcome to all Fire Shelby readers.  You are all invited to participate in webster's glossary contest.  The rules are simple.  Come up with an entry for inclusion in the glossary, and provide its definition(s).  You can say what you wish, just make sure your presentation follows WGS (webster's Glossary style).  You can submit as many entries as you wish, just include one per post (i.e., post each one separately).  Entries are to be submitted as replies to this post (i.e., on this string).

webster's crack team of glossary experts will judge submissions.  The deadline is Monday, April 26, at 5:00pm EST.  The winner will be announced on Wednesday night, before the Glamser-Stringer hearings.  If we're lucky, maybe Fire Shelby will "flash" the winner for a couple of days on the front page of the site.

Good luck everyone.

I'll be glad to flash the winner.

Wish I could take credit for this one but I can't.  It just happens to be Merriam Webster's Word of the Day...nonetheless, it seemed apropos!
