I caught the tail end of an interesting blurb on FM radio 104.5 about 15 minutes ago. The talk show hosts said something about "Deep Throat" and a "package" then went on to discuss Angie's credentials (referred to her as "Dvoriak") and the Glamser/Stringer hearings but I missed what sounded like the most interesting part. Anyone hear it? Did they plug Fireshelby?
To respond to your post, I tried to think up a smarmy "deep throat" comment, to be posted in my best Mae West voice, or maybe even a warped Dorothy Parker quotation, but my feeble attempt at a humorous jesture (that probably only I would have found funny) fell flat before it flowed to the keyboard.
I must say that I am positively gleeful about the next two days. Have you ever had the feeling that everything will be fine? You just know it in your heart? That's how I am feeling today. Call this usual pessimist an optimist today.

FS, why not just use the Mader voice...heard that's pretty smarmy!
Aghast, it's news for two reasons. First, because of the stripping of Angie's faculty status yesterday and second, because all eyes are turning on USM tomorrow for the hearings.

Oh. Thanks. I didn't know if it was Rick and Bubba or the trio on the Jackson talk radio show (I think that one's on 95.7 or something like that, though. I haven't heard them discuss this on their show.)

They've discussed it several times and have been very much on the Thames side in every case.

That doesn't surprise me. ON the several times I have been able to stomach the show, they seem ill-informed. (Actually, they seem more concerned with having meals catered to the radio station than with providing objective insight into the news--but that's an awful lot to ask of talk radio.)

Their idea of doing the news is to read the articles that were in the Hattiesburg American the day before. They aren't exactly going out on a limb to inform the public.
Regarding the USM mess, they are probably more concerned with offending their sponsors than with offending their listeners.
