Graduate Council < 1. faculty governance body at USM responsible for determining graduate faculty credentials of USM faculty; 2. voted 14-0 to rescind Angeline Dvorak’s graduate faculty status at USM (on 4/26/04) on the grounds that she did not hold a tenure track appointment; 3. Council’s report is said to have indicated that Dvorak had submitted a faulty application, indicating tenure track status, the previous August (of 2003).

Professor of English at USM, and product of a national job search; 2. has written two very eloquent letters to the editor of The Student Printz concerning the troubled Thames administration; 3. on 4/27/04, Wallace wrote that Shelby Thames ". . . doesn’t seem to know what every student knows: you can’t cover ignorance and shallow thinking with bravado and empty words."
