before we get to that (ala Ryan Seacrest), let me first say that only one entry was properly executed. This was by "malapropism," but even he/she stated that the entry was the official "word of the day" by Merriam Webster, so I did not count it.
Instead, I scoured the strings since announcing my contest, looking for the best new phrase that appeared. I found one, and I have provided the entries for it below. Before we examine it, let's all congratulate truth4usm for "submitting" the winning entry: JOB SNOWBALL!
job snowball < 1. practice of the Thames administration of awarding, usually to cronies, numerous job titles/responsibilities to a single person; 2. best exemplified by Ken Malone, currently the chair of the economic development department, the Director of Business Venture Development, and the Chief Operating Officer of USMGC; 3. Susan Siltanen had a small job snowball until the Fall of 2003, when she committed the unthinkable human error with the phantom students that cost her one of the two administration titles/responsibilities she held at the time. I'm honored! It's great to win a contest I didn't even know I'd entered! I'd like to thank my mother for teaching me how to read and the USM English Department for teaching me how to use METAPHORS and write creatively, especially Angela Ball and David "D.C." Berry.
And, because I coined the term "Kenbot" who is used as the prime example of one engaged in "job snowballing" in this "cloud-cuckoo-land" and because Webster mentioned me by pseudonym, albeit as the one disqualified, I also feel like I am partaking in this honor!

malapropism,
I have added kenbot to the Glossary. If I had known you coined it (I searched but couldn't tell), we would have had co-winners. Consider that so now!! I will attribute kenbot to you later this week.....

Thank you!
First use I believe is From Preview of Upcoming Glossary Terms thread, now on page 14, dated April 8 - don't want to take credit if it's not due!
