Separate campaigns for these should begin soon.  The Hartwigs would probably help, as would hundreds of small contributors.  By the time the 2 retire, USM would be ready to award the Glamser Professorship in Sociology and the Stringer Professorship in English to worthy scholars in both fields.  That would be great.
