First, I apologize for going way off topic and FS can delete this post if she wants.

Where can I get some really good grilled fish under $9 other than the Cresent City Grill (for obvious reasons).

Best fish I ever had in the 'burg was at the Hub City Grill (downtown on Front Street near McKenzie's on Main).  Might be more expensive than $9, but worth every penny.

I had a good grilled fish sandwich at 206 Front for under $9, although I don't recall the exact price.

Speaking of grilled, I grilled some burgers for dinner.  YUM!

I am glad to see an off-topic thread now and then.  Doesn't hurt to have a little carefree entertainment here!

I used to like oyster Po Boys at the Gold Coast (is that the right name?).  Is that still there?

I think the Gold Post is still there. Haven't eaten there in years.

I've heard the grilled tuna steak at Donanelle's is pretty good, but I'm a red meat kind of guy myself so I've never tried it.

Oh, how I remember what a treat it was to go to Mack's Fish Camp.  Is it still there?  Do they grill fish or is everything still fried?  I have been all over the world and their hush puppies are still unbeatable.

O'Charley's is a "friend" (I think that's what your gettin at), and they usually have some fish that's pretty good.

yes, it is still there, they built a new place for it-much nicer than the other place and it is still just as good.

i would love to eat downtown more often, but dinner at walnut circle grill would cost me a tank of gas.  just a lowly student you know (according to shelby).

just wish there was some inexpensive, but quality places other than the chains here. i like to support local business' when possible.
