With reasonable men I will reason; with humane men I will plead; but to tyrants I will give no quarter, nor waste arguments, where they will certainly be lost.

(Thanks to a fire shelby message board member for the "no quarter" image above. If you would like to use this image, feel free to, but please save it to your hard drive. Please don't link to it; my bandwidth can't handle huge demand.)

GO BILL, GO BILL, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY! (pretend there is music)

Do you want me to do a poll and let people vote? I would vote No Quarter. Let me do a poll--will have it up in a few minutes.
Okay. T-SHIRTS 'R US stays in business. But this is starting to get expensive since I've paid for the shirts, and all proceeds have gone to legal defense fund. But I'd be happy to be in charge and to get them commercially done if some of you wonderful folks on the board would be willing to donate a little money for production. Or, if there is a small amount of interest, I can handle it myself, no problem.
What should they look like? The quarter with the red line and the whole quote? (It doesn't make sense if it just says "no quarter.") Perhaps they could say "no quarter" on the back (all of this depends on cost . . . .)

I'll pledge $30 for two tee's, one for me, one for my life partner. I would pledge more, but I'm a VERY broke student at the moment.

Let's start another thread on T-shirt talk. Let me get the poll up, and then we can discuss funding, make pledges, orders, etc. Is that ok with y'all?

Quarter with the red line and whole quote is my vote. It's a wonderful and inspiring idea.
I'm just asking for a little bit of startup money (perhaps from faculty or employed friends), who might have a bit of cash to throw into the pot. If the initial costs are covered (or most of them, I can still help), then we can sell the shirts at a price that students can afford.

I will give you $100 in start up money and commit to two T-shirts at $20 each. Details through FS.
