Tonight, tomorrow morning. Send a letter, a detailed letter, laying out your view of Thames and his presidency--the violations of trust and the best practice of management, the foolish and costly "reorganization," the personal vendetta against Glamser and Stringer, the hiring of incompetents--the whole nine yards.
This is the time as the IHL board is thinking about this problem RIGHT NOW, apparently. If you haven't written before, or even if you have, now is the time for your most impassioned plea for decency and integrity, for setting this university back on its proper course.
Here is the list of legislators. Elsewhere on this site you can find the board members.

Yes. Look on the contact page of this website and email letters to the IHL email address. Legislators, too. Everyone.
Yes! According to WDAM's 6:00 news, the IHL Board is contemplating another meeting about USM's "problems." It's a great idea to write now, tonight. And for what it's worth, in my letter I intend to focus on LIABILITY. Hanbury's email to the deans, threatening them because they won't violate state law.... the implicit statement in that email that Pres. Thames ordered the deans to violate the law.... Pres. Thames' violating the legal settlement with Gary and Frank within one day of its being announced. Thames and his team are just lawsuits waiting to happen. (Wait, I guess some of them are already happening. Well, you know what I mean.)
Anyway, I guarantee you the IHL Board cares about liability, as they should.
I've just sent off a message to the legislators and to the main IHL address; have the indivdual e-mail addresses of the IHL members ever been posted to the board?

If you go to the link "What you can do. Activism", you will see the e-mail address and below that, a link for the home adddresses for all the board members. I do not think this includes the new members. I too just rewrote a letter. This may be the time to change minds on the IHL board!
I tried to write a letter to the legislators, but my browser can somehow only copy one of the addresses at a time. If someone who knows me could send me the addresses in a document attachment, I'd appreciate it.
