I bet Hood couldn't care less. This is the same guy who appointed Hackbury as an AAG to cover their collective fannies. Remember, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL IS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL. He was NOT hired based on his abilities. He's probably well aware that Shelby & his country club cronies have more money & are more willing to contribute it to politicians than a pack of "do nothing" professors & hippie college students.

The person who first contacted me this morning advising of Hanbury's imminent departure just called to tell me that Bob Pittman of the Lamar Times has confirmed same.

Don't be so quick to bash the AG. My sources tell me he's one of the good guys in all this. Giving Hanbury AG status made him suddenly accountable.

On another thread it was alleged that SFT used Foundation money to send him to school and to pay for him to take the bar exam. Even if he leaves, this should be investigated. Another poster suggested that this may not be the use that donors had in mind when they gave money to the Foundation.
