Finally, we can tell all the trolls and all the Eagle Talkers to SHUT THE H*** UP!  Hanbury is gone!  I feel vindicated at this point, and want to thank EVERYONE on this board for all the pressure that helped to make this happen.  All the letter writing, phone calls, emails, countless hours updating the websites, etc. and it has finally paid off in a very public way!


Fire Shelby, you are to be commended for setting up this forum.  There's been no news story in the past 8 weeks that has scooped this site.  In fact, I have a feeling that members of this board have actually broken many of the stories that have been reported in the local media. 


What is the Margaret Mead quote?  I'll try to paraphrase it...


"Never doubt that a small group of concerned citizens can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."


INDEED!!!!!! 


KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!!!!  We have won this battle, but must press on for a CLEAN SWEEP of the DOME!

I have said it before and I will say it again: Fire Shelby has helped make history with this board!  I am convinced that without this board as a meeting place, rallying center, and source of pressure, the professors would be out of jobs and Jack Hanbury would still have one.  A HUGE thank-you to FS, our fearless (literally!) leader!

FS - I can't begin to thank you enough for this board. The Thames's (and Co.) have thrived on the isolation theory, and they still probably don't actually "get it". They didn't realize that there was someone out there who could create such a community as what we have experienced through this site.  I truly believe it never occured to them.

Jim, thanks for all you have done for me and others in the past.  When Shelby made you the Dean of the Gradaute School, it was his great moment as President,  all else will be remebered.
