Any thoughts on the best practical, activist ways to spend our time this week? Is there anyone in particular to whom we should write? I have posted, on other threads, the addresses on the governor and of the house and senate committees on colleges and universities. Is there anyone else who should be contacted at present? I would like to make my efforts have the maximum impact, so I'd appreciate any suggestions.

In the last batch of letters I sent to the board, I included her. The letter to her at that address came back as undeliverable. It was marked "FOE," which I assume means "forwarding order expired." Anyone have a newer address?

I just phoned the IHL and left a message asking them to please update their website ASAP so we will be sure to have up-to-the-minute addresses for the new members. I also, of course, took advantage of the opportunity to express my concern on the message about the mess at USM.
I just received the following reply to my telephone message:
Thanks for calling about contact info for our new Board members. We are working on the web site today to have it updated. However, we will not be posting their personal mailing addresses to the web.
Correspondence may be sent to our Board office in Jackson at 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211. I prepare a daily mailing to the Board and always include personal letters that arrive in our office for the members. Please feel free to send your correspondence to our main office. I assure you all correspondence does make it to each Board member.
