I just sent an email to the USM Alumni Assocation Board members. I received the following message from the USM email server.
: 131.95.82.57 DOES NOT LIKE RECIPIENT. Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 ... User unknown Giving up on 131.95.82.57.
My message was also rejected by three other board members' accounts. I use Yahoo! mail. I guess their accounts are set up to block messages from Yahoo!
I mailed to the Alum board as well and got several back that were "undeliverable". I did NOT include SFT in my email though. I didn't think it would be polite to email him calling fo the Alumni Association to get off of its a$$ and do something. I did get a response from one of the board members and she was absolutely wonderful. She did NOT commit to anything, but she was most gracious and reponded promptly to my email. She is the only one who has. I only wish I could remember her name right now - sorry, I'm brain dead. School and the kids are making me crazy these days.
One reason for the undeliverable messages may be that some HTML code somehow got embedded in the list of addresses I posted. You need to remove that, after you've copied-and-pasted the addresses, in order for all the addresses to work properly.
