Hey Dietz, the phd program you're in surely doesn't cause too many hectic days does it?

What phd program am I in? I didn't even realize that I was still in school. I could be wrong but I thought I graduated and was running the family business now with my father. I could be wrong though. Maybe I have a multiple personality disorder that causes me to forget my other life.

Well, you are right on both accounts. I am both a jackass and not that bad after all.

Yes, I was still a graduate student last semester in ED. However, my father has suffered from a couple of strokes recently and it was time to come home for good and help out. I cannot leave my mother with the weight of six stores on her shoulders. Now, she could handle it a lot better than I could but I needed to come home and help. It wasn't right for me to stay up there any longer.

I actually didn't finish the ED master's program. I'm going to eventually transfer credits to the MBA program and finish on the Coast by taking one or two classes per semester.

I wish your father a quick recovery. There are some amazing drugs now available that help people recover from strokes. I am glad that you live close enough to your family that you can help.

Be fairly warned that these faculty members will do what they can to make sure you have a very difficult time in your future studies.

You are now on their "Unfriendly" list and you and anyone you associate with will be black-balled, and you family business boy-cotted.

They are every bit as bad and in many ways worse than individuals they plot against.
