I just read the latest USM Mailout. I am pasting in some of that email. I found it strange that there is so much advertising going on using the university system. Perhaps it is just me, but this seems a bit inappropriate in the use of university facilities. I want to point out that I do not find the information objectionable.

If the information is not objectionable what is the point? Are we now going to publically deny the fact that we need information about what is going on in the local community. Is'nt this no more than a community bullentin for the campus. When we start attacking this then we might as well say to the local bunch we do not like you.

Wuz Up makes a good point. Now what are the university rules for the USMMAIL? Can I advertise my business without a fee? If Weight Watches can have prices in their ads posted, can I list my tutoring prices?
