Judge Cooley has been sitting at the Pine Belt Regional Airport for 10 hours now, waiting for his limo (i.e., me). Here's the story. As you all know, he left from Paris to Hawaii early last week. Well, they made a stop over in Lansing (I didn't know this) on their way to the Garcia's. In Lansing, they unloaded the Gulfstream and boarded the TCLS F-117A Nighthawk for the remainder of their trip. He thought we had been informed of this, only we hadn't (the message never got to us from the TCLS staff member; he was fired this morning, just 20 minutes ago, btw).
Well, last night over Oklahoma, the jet "went stealth," as Judge Cooley likes to do for grins. They arrived in Hattiesburg, "under the radar" at the scheduled time, only we were in OK looking for them. What a mess! He's not too happy with me right now.
I am on the way to pick them up and head back to the Marriott. I'm sure he's ready for a nap. See you guys over on the other board later this week.
What great news.. The Oklahoma Search Squad has just disbanded and will meet over in Owens Field in Norman to celebrate finding Cooley. The O.S.S. have a reputation for being Boomers and LandRushers and might have jumped the gun a little early. Everyone has agreed that we've got to calm Will Rogers down from the unfortunate Catoosa incident. We're just happy that Cooley didn't have to make an emergency landing in the unfortunately named Wiley Post Airport in OKC.
